Using the service
By creating an account or using interactive features, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines and Listing Guidelines that apply to your activity. The Privacy Policy explains data handling. Accounts are for adults aged 18 or older who can enter a binding agreement. If you act for a farm, business or organization, you must have authority to do so.
Your account and public identity
Provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials private, and do not share or sell account access. Use a unique username without impersonating another person, business or staff member. You may use a business name if authorized. Usernames do not guarantee anonymity. Tell support if your account appears compromised. We may restrict misleading names or require reasonable evidence for a directory claim.
What Racehorse Connect provides
Racehorse Connect is an information, classifieds and community platform. We are not the seller, buyer, transporter, veterinarian, farrier, broker, employer or insurer in a member transaction. Publication, account registration and directory claims do not establish professional licensing, ownership, service quality or a guarantee of safety. Public-source directory records can be outdated. Confirm relevant facts directly with the provider.
Horse listings, services and transactions
You are responsible for your advertisements, representations, authority to sell or represent a horse, required disclosures, and compliance with applicable law. Buyers and sellers arrange their own contracts, examinations, payments, transport, insurance and transfers. Obtain independent professional advice where needed. We do not process horse purchase payments or ownership transfers through this version of the website. Never treat a username, listing approval or message as a substitute for due diligence.
Your posts, messages and media
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Racehorse Connect a nonexclusive permission to store, format, display and distribute that content as needed to operate the features you use, including showing approved marketplace listings in the community feed. This permission does not transfer ownership or allow unrestricted unrelated commercial reuse. You must have permission for text, images, recordings, documents and personal information you submit. Public viewers can copy or share published material; we cannot recall every outside copy.
Acceptable use and moderation
No scams, unlawful content, threats, harassment, hateful abuse, sexual exploitation, doxxing, stolen media, impersonation, malicious files, spam, unauthorized account access or attempts to bypass safety restrictions. Do not use listing inquiries for unrelated private solicitation. We may review submissions, reject or remove content, limit features, lock discussions, or suspend or terminate accounts for violations or safety reasons. Where practical, we will explain the decision; an explanation may be limited to protect people, investigations or legal obligations. You can request a review through Contact & Support.
Research, news and outside websites
Research figures, calendars, jobs, listings and public-source contacts are informational and can change. Sire performance does not guarantee fertility, breeding availability or future results. We do not provide veterinary, legal, tax or investment advice. News links identify original publishers; outside sites may charge for access and have their own rules. Racehorse Connect does not claim affiliation with an organization simply because it is listed or linked.
Advertising and future paid services
Sponsored placements should be identified; sample advertisements are demonstration placements. We do not currently take membership subscription payments, investment subscriptions or syndicate reservations through the website. Any future paid feature or offering will need its own clear price, payment, cancellation and other applicable terms before purchase.
Availability and responsibility
The service and third-party information are provided as available. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free records or particular transaction or financial outcomes. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties and responsibility for losses caused by independent transactions, other users or outside services. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights, remedies or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes, account closure and contact
We may improve or discontinue features and update these Terms. Material changes will receive notice where required. Stop using the service if you do not accept updated Terms. To close your account, request data removal or resolve a concern, contact racehorseconnect@outlook.com or use Contact & Support. Closing an account does not automatically erase records that must be retained for legitimate safety, dispute or legal purposes; see the Privacy Policy.
