Sign-in and security
Supabase authentication uses session cookies so the website can recognize your account and refresh your session. These are needed for member features. Hosting/security services may also use technical identifiers to deliver and protect the website. Blocking necessary cookies can prevent sign-in or other features from working.
Saved browser preferences
Some research cards, notes and educational checklists store preferences in local browser storage. These may remain until you clear website data. Account-saved listings, messages, email preferences and member poll votes are stored on the server and are not erased just by clearing your browser. The current poll does not use the old local-only demonstration vote.
Advertising, analytics and outside sites
This version does not load optional behavioral advertising pixels or cross-site analytics trackers. Sample or contextual advertising placements may be visible without those trackers. Links to publishers, businesses and organizers open their own websites, whose cookies and policies are separate. We will update this notice and provide consent controls where required before enabling optional tracking that needs consent.
Your controls
Sign out on shared devices. Use your browser’s website-data settings to review or clear cookies and local storage for Racehorse Connect. Clearing website data may sign you out and remove browser-only notes or checklist progress. You can separately change message email notifications in Settings.
