SALES BRIEFING

After the championships, the focus turns to Fasig-Tipton

The November Sale is set for November 2 in Lexington, with a 2 p.m. start.

Racehorse Connect Editorial · Published October 23, 2026

The next major stop after Breeders’ Cup weekend is Fasig-Tipton’s November Sale. The selected mixed auction is scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, in Lexington, beginning at 2 p.m.

What is in the offering?

The original announcement listed 208 main-catalog entries, including racing and broodmare prospects, in-foal mares, selected weanlings and a lifetime breeding right. That initial count is not a final attendance or sales total: supplements and withdrawals can change the offering.

An October 20 update added hips 106, 214 and 215. Check the current catalog and supplements together before making a shortlist.

Prepare before you arrive

Fasig-Tipton’s enhanced catalog provides pedigree information, race replays and other research tools. Online and telephone bidding are available according to the company’s announcement; prospective buyers should confirm registration requirements directly with the sales company.

The Connect checklist

Keep each prospect’s hip number, questions for the consignor and inspection notes together. Set a budget that also accounts for examinations, transport and the horse’s next stage of care. Catalog descriptions are a starting point for research, not a substitute for inspection.
